HANNA BOQUIST is a professional musical artist who currently lives in Gothenburg, where she recently graduated from Balettakademien of Musical Theatre.
Born in 1995, Hanna grew up in a small town outside of Stenungsund. At the age of twelve, she began performing on stage in various talent shows – and the spark was lit. Soon Hanna began working as a freelance singer in her spare time, and from there things have moved on quickly.
Since then, she has performed on numerous stages all over Sweden. She was most recently seen as the title role in “Evita” at Balettakademien, directed by Rikard Bergqvist. Before that she played the part of Mary Flynn in “Merrily we Roll Along” by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth at Balettakademiens Theatre, produced by herself. Hanna was also seen as Rizzo in “Grease” at Varbergs Theatre last summer. Apart from that, Hanna has toured Sweden as a part of the pop duo ”Dash4”.
In 2016 Hanna got rewarded for her hard work with ”Från Broadway till Duvemåla”s big reward for young musical artists in Sweden. She also made guest apperences with them on their concert tour in Sweden.
“For me, it is always important to convey a feeling, and at the same time, entertain with music. My goal with every performance is to give everyone in the crowd something they can relate to, and to involve the audience in what I do in one way or another.”
