HANNA BOQUIST grew up in a small town outside of Stenungsund on the Swedish west coast. At the age of twelve, she began performing on stage in various talent shows – and the spark was lit. Soon Hanna began working as a freelance singer in her spare time, and from there things have moved on quickly.

Since then, she has performed on numerous stages all over Sweden. She was most recently seen as Nathalie Haller in “All Shook Up” at Kristianstads Theatre. Before that she played the part of Mary Flynn in “Merrily we Roll Along” by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth at Balettakademiens Theatre, produced by herself. Hanna was also seen as Cathy Hiatt in “The Last 5 Years” at Varbergs Theatre last summer. This fall you have the chance to see her in the role of Ciara and in the Ensemble of ”Bridges of Madison County”, directed by Rikard Bergqvist at Maxim theatre, Stockholm and Slagthuset, Malmö.

In 2016 Hanna got rewarded for her hard work with the Från Broadway till Duvemåla scholarship for young musical artists in Sweden. She also made guest apperences with them on their concert tour in Sweden.
